Friedhelm Plass is a small farmer of the new generation. The qualified agronomist looked long and hard before he decided that the joint organic farming project at Orgosen would be the ideal location for his sheep farming. For the past ten years he has kept a flock of 100 east-Friesian Herdbuch milk sheep in compliance with strict organic criteria. He has now established a family business rearing sheep and selling the meat and milk products in the farmyard shop and at markets in the region

Margret Rasfeld has been a dedicated headteacher at a secondary school in Essen-Holsterhausen for eight years. Supporting the AGENDA initiative the school is something special. Great importance is attached to responsibility and civil society engagement, whether that involves the school's own array of solar panels or responsible duties every child takes in the community.

Robin Stock

Together with friends, Robin Stock has set up the nanta-Alemania society. They support a centre in Bolivia which provides rest opportunities for children who have to work. “I am not changing the world with this, but at least I manage to make the lives of these children a bit more worth living.”
